RUN began in 1994 when a group of church leaders got together to share the challenges and experiences of reaching out to unchurched people. It quickly became apparent that there was a need for a UK based network to envision and resource those with a passion to communicate the gospel in a way that people with little or no church background could relate to.

During the following years RUN developed into one of the largest and most effective networks of its kind. During the course of it’s ministry over 2000 churches from 30 denominations and 15 countries have been in active membership. These have benefited from a wide range of day conferences and longer national events, superb resources and opportunities to network with like minded people.

In November 2009, following an extensive strategic review, the decision was made to bring RUN to a close. A number of excellent organisations have arisen over recent years that between them cover many similar areas of ministry but it is also recognised that the world has changed and that people now access resources and support from a wide diversity of providers. The Executive team were clear that this was the right course of action to take and there was a strong desire to celebrate what God had done and move on rather than just continue for the sake of keeping an organisation operating.

This website will remain open for existing members to access our free downloads until the end of 2010.
