Prismatic Mission
"Prismatic Mission" Tues/Wed 3/4th November - Northampton
'Prismatic Mission'
...Every colour of God's mission, through all the callings of God's people to every corner of God's world

Download Gerard Kelly's PowerPoint Presentation here

How can the church touch the whole world?

By exploring God's central plan of using ordinary people as the key to reaching the nations, Prismatic Mission is about providing God's people with a wider vision of mission, a stronger commitment to equipping and a deeper engagement with culture.

Is the church in Western Culture in crisis?

Once the driving force in the shaping and global expansion of European values and ideas, most churches are now marginalised even within their own home context. More and more young adults are choosing to live without a faith commitment, and the fastest growing section of the church itself is those who don't go anymore.

And yet our culture is crying out as never before for the true values of the Kingdom. In economics, in cultural relationships, in the small decisions of everyday life and the big-picture workings of the political machine, we are hungrier than ever for values that work. Never has the culture asked so many of the questions that the Kingdom addresses, never have so few been listening to the answers. How will the faith that built Europe recover from this slump?

Where do we go from here?

Prismatic Mission is an attempt to rediscover God's missional epic and give new life and energy to the lives of our churches. Together we intend to explore the challenges, suggest some avenues for development and, drawing principally on Paul's vision of church and kingdom as set out in Ephesians 3 and 4, seek to bring together the theory, practice and diversity of God's multi-faceted missional design.

Over 24 hours, there will be opportunities for time with God, with one another and for reflection, as well as challenging input from Gerard. This conference is for all church leaders and anyone seeking to engage in contemporary mission.
