It's 1982 and Roxy Music have just released their atmospheric song More Than This chronicling a love affair that fell apart. The evocative line 'more than this - there is nothing' is followed by the question 'who can say where we're going?' Twenty six years later the words seem strangely pertinent to a world largely bereft of hope and direction. These are days of great challenges and unparalleled opportunities for the church of Jesus Christ.

But one thing is clear; we cannot just keep doing more of the same if the same isn't working. For many of us we need to break the mould of mission and explore what Church and outreach looks like in a Western culture where both are alien concepts.

More than this is not a catch all, definitive, all inclusive model of how to do everything in ten easy steps! It's a recognition that we are all in this together, that no one has it all worked out but that together we can explore how we can make a difference and maybe even change our world.

We are delighted to have some of the foremost thinkers and practioners of our time with us for what promises to be a highlight event for 2008. Brian McLaren will be joined by a superb team of plenary and seminar speakers who will help us address three key areas relating to our gospel message, our community engagement and our spiritual development. As in all RUN events there will be a strong emphasis on networking, story-telling, creative worship, space to engage with God and fun!

25 seminars to choose from. Click here to see details.

Bring a team and take advantage of one free place for every four booked.

"Conferences for church leaders are two a penny... and the ones that are truly worth time, money and effort are hard to find. RUN has a strong track record at organising the kind of conference that you would be sorry to miss. This one is no exception."
Ian Coffey - Spring Harvest
